FAQ
Yes. Once typik is set as your keyboard, it works in Messages, Mail, Notes and the other apps you use every day. In password fields, or in apps that don’t allow third-party keyboards, your phone may switch back to the system keyboard.
Yes. Pick a key and a feature under Key assignments in the app. Start with the defaults, then move the features you use most to keys that are easy to reach.
Snippets, the calculator, and the Han/Eng, date and unit conversions work without an internet connection. Polish, 3-line summary, Change tone and Find places need one. On iPhone, also turn on Allow Full Access in the keyboard settings.
AI features run on a free token allowance that refreshes every day. Tokens are how AI usage is counted, and you can check what’s left in the app’s Agent tab. The calculator and snippets don’t use any tokens.
